gurgling in the heater

Post by pcchad »

I guys,

I have the age old problem of gurgling in the heater hoses, have tried several times to do the Heater on full thing with the cap off, even tried cutting out the bottom of a 2lt bottle and put it upside down in the header tank and fulled it up so the water weight should have helped push the bubbles out. ,

It Didnt !

Any other Ideas?? Is there any hoses handy that I can undo to drain water and air out or will this just let more air in?? Its driving me nuts!

Cheers.....Pcchad

should be able to undo one of the heater hoses at the firewall. I know it's tight, but not as bad as some I've worked on. Once you have it loose use your 2 liter bottle deal again to get the water level up high enough to burp the heater.

Good luck and let us know if it works.
