93 Legacy 5spd wagon TURBO

Post by gto7419 »

This car was originally n/a. The previous owner turbo'ed the stock ej22e with no engine management. When that motor died, I took another ej22e open deck block and rebuilt it.

The block:

ej22e open deck
cleaned
honed
new clevite main and rod bearings
stock ej22t turbo pistons
moly coated piston rings

The longblock:

ej25 dohc heads/manifold
cometic ej22t head gaskets
stock sensors, etc...
2006 wrx top mount intercooler and blow off valve
Cold air intake (Stock box included with sale)
ej22t higher output waterpump and oil pump
new timing belt
t3 turbo in need of replacement

Exhaust:

99rs manifold
2" stainless uppipe
2.5" stainless downpipe
sti midpipe
sti exhaust

ECU:

Stock ecu
Apexi SAFC II
J&S safeguard Ultra
Zeitronix Wideband (needs a new cable)
I have 5 gauges that go with the car.
Mechanical boost (installed)
Electric oil temp (installed)
Electric oil pressure
Electric EGT
Electric fuel pressure (installed)

Suspension:

rs struts
stock springs
18mm rear sway bar
powerflex swaybar bushings

Drivetrain:

3.90 tranny (has a very slow leak)
Exedy organic street clutch with a lot of miles left
wrx rims and stock re92s or dunlops (I have 2 sets of rims and Im keeping one set)
Short throw shifter and sti bushing.
3.90 rear LSD

Brakes

wrx front and rear calipers
wrx front and rear rotors
goodridge stainless brake lines

Other:

wrx fuel pump
hitch and wiring

This car RUNS and is driveable.

The bad:

The windshield is cracked
The drivers side fender is dented
Theres some rust at the rear wheel wells (more than some on pass side)
Rear quarter panel has some solid but ugly bodywork
Turbo is starting to die

AND, this car has a slow tranny fluid leak...

Like I said before, the car runs and drives. It could use a tune, and it needs a turbo rebuild or replacement.

I easily have $3,500 into this car....

Im willing to let everything go for $2300 as is or $2500 with new turbo. Either way, I'll throw in all the spare parts I have laying around that wont fit my new to me wrx....

NEW PRICE - $2000 OR BEST OFFER!!!!

The msd unit in the car and the headunit are not included. A pioneer headunit will be included as will the stock rear speakers (both uninstalled).

Do not pay any attention to the date in the pictures - its simply wrong. And, the wrx tmic is currently installed and functional.

About 210,000 on the clock - not even 1,000 on the new motor...

Its pretty quick, but I still havent really pushed it... The motor only has about 150 miles on it and still needs to be broken in...

The car also needs a new turbo which Im considering buying and installing (but the price is going to go up...). The turbo on there is kinda small anyway, so its going to be a lot quicker if I put a new one on there....

BUMP

New turbo is in. Im losing money on this car everyday and just want it gone.

The car has a huge uppipe leak and still pulls like crazy once boost hits.

The hitch is coming off of the car for a friend.

I need $2000 out of this thing for my next project.

Once all the small bugs are fixed, this car will be a MONSTER... I just do not have the time.

SOMEONE MAKE ME A DECENT OFFER!!!!
