My wife says the car smells like unburned gas. I wasn't in it so I
know it wasn't the burritos I had the night before.
I have an ECU error refering to a fuel canister solenoid or some such
thing.
Sounds like this could cause the problem.......?
Where is it located on the car? I would like to change it myself.

Fuel canister
I believe it is in the front passenger side of the vehicle, next to the radiator, that's if I'm thinking of the same thing.....I hope so...
I'll double check in my manual and let you know if no one else has confirmed or said I'm wrong.

Fuel canister
Part is cheap. Replacement for untrained/uninitiated will take approx. 40 minutes depending on:
A. The size of your fingers
B. Manual dexterity
Cannister Purge Solenoide is what you are refferring to I assume. Go get one and then look for it under the passenger side intake manifold.
