I got these thinking I was going to put them on my legacy to raise it a little for when i go camping. ended up buying a beater isuzu to tow with instead.

The mounting points look too different to work on 1st gen Legacies.

correct. these will not work on early gen legacys. they might fit 2000-2004 legacys.

Nope, they won't work on anything but BL/BP Leggos (and probably the brand-new Imprezas).

The rears have now been a multilink configuration since 2005, on both the sedans and wagons.

The rear has been multi-link in the legacy/outback since 2000. These should work for the baja also.
