02 WRX TMIC on 91 SS?

Will a 02 WRX TMIC fot on a 91 SS with minimal work.

If sare there any install writeups?

If I remeber right I dont think they fit without, well, beating the shit out of your car. So I wouldnt suggest trying it.

It "fits"... with a wiggle room of a hair... If you get a XT TMIC or a 05... and up... forgot what year but they are a little smaller and supposedly fit better.

06' 07' WRX and FXT tmic's fit. they are wider and narrower. Ask devan (livestrong14) how they installed a FXT tmic.

I have one from an 03, (I think the 02 and 03 were the same one)
and if I have things sitting right, it should fit tightly... now, I have a 90, so I don't know if your 91 SS has anything in the way... and I don't have it completely installed, I just have it sitting there, and I have things mocked, and it LOOKS like it shouldn't have any issues.

I have 1/4 inch between the intercooler output and the intake manifold, and my brackets holding the tmic up to the firewall have it about 1/2 inch or so from the firewall, and not pinching the lines that go across the firewall... (I would send you a pic, but I still don't have a camera)

I helped install one on Phil's (BAC5.2) former Legacy SS and we had to "massage" the firewall with a hammer for it to fit. Also the throttle body had to be cut down for room too.
