Hood Scoops

just got my 92 Legacy turbo sedan and ive seen some pictures of guys running a taller/ bigger scoop to cool the turbo what types of scoops can i swap or do they sell the bigger scoop as a bolt on and what kind of modifications do i have to do to get a bigger better scoop

wow thanks for the life lesson, ive tried searching and havent found anything does anyone have a link to a web site that sells a bolt on bigger hood scoop?

We don't do alot of 'bolt-on' mods here, since there's not really a market for our cars and that kinda stuff. There's tons of stuff to be had out of WRXs that fit our cars with little to no jimmy-rigging, but mostly all of the substantial power and handling mods require a bit of work.

And check the Body, Chassis and Interior section --that's where you'll find all the answers to your hoodscoop questions.
As far as scoops go, I suggest a WRX or STi scoop. They don't 'Bolt on', but they will provide a better route for more air to your intercooler. Does your 92 have an intercooler?
