I know I can get them from the dealership or Autozone but I was just wondering if someone did a swap with 2.5heads and now no longer need the 2.2 plug wires.

That's what's on my wife's '98 LGT (picked 'em up used) and it smoothed out the idle pretty well. Of course, I delayed in changing spark plugs and that made a big improvement after 130k miles.
