Rallycross Northern CA - Perfect Practice Spot

Post by rallyryder »

I know of a road not far from Auburn CA off of 80 in Northern CA. Dirt to gravel, gravel to dirt nice and wide with challenging turns, s turns, elevation changes, fairly smooth. My 92 legacy turbo awd tears it up, would love to meet some guys down to go up there and rally we could do things very safely if we had a few guys up there. The place is fuckn awesome world class rallying. Post if you live near and would like to check it out.

I live in Sacramento. But im not interested in totalling my car, or even worse, killing someone driving up a dirt road.

trust me i don't want to hurt anyone either, but if we have two people we can keep the road clear, and if you know how to drive it shouldn't be an issue, everyone should know their driving limits and not push beyond them risking their life and damaging their vehicle. I don't want to race i want to practice. If we are smart we can do this safely and have a blast.

I would be so down if I lived near there. Hope you find somebody to play with, and use two ways or your phones to alert each other.

You are just asking for trouble pulling shit like this.

Find a track to practice on.

But im down for a meet-n-drive. Me and a couple locals used to take the Wentworth loop at least once a summer. We havent this summer though, everyone's lives have seemed to get busier and busier.

biggreen's got the rite idea, and its out in the middle of nowhere with two ways we could rally all day every day, and the great thing is that there is no side roads or streets coming off the rally road.

Its asphault.

Let me find a map of our route:

Its not a rally. We obey all traffic laws. Its a very windy 2 lane road through the mountains. Great scenery. There is a lake 1/2 way through we usually stop at and eat lunch. its a great full day drive.
