After years of sitting in the garage i've decided to get out the Suby and let her have some fun. But before I can do that I am in need of a new clutch. The car drives and runs fine but I can tell there's some slipping beginning.
So, can someone suggest a good clutch? I'm looking for relatively inexpensive but better than stock and able to handle some abuse now and then.
Also, is this something that someone with little car experience but with lots of mechanical aptitude and tools can do? Any helpful words of wisdom?
Thanks--I'm really stoked to romp around in the Legacy again!

So, I found an Exedy WRX OEM clutch kit(ksb03) and a WRX F1 racing 12lb lightweight flywheel that I'm going to pick up--anyone have any good/bad experience with either?
Also, I was planning on changing the release bearing and pilot bearing while in there, is there anything else I should do while it's apart?
Again, can someone please let me know if this is something that can be done with a bit of time (i've got air tools and such) and approx how long am I looking at being under there? and are there any "special" tools i'll need? Sorry for all the questions but i've done some searching and still wasn't sure if I had everything sorted.
Thanks!
