Will 225-45-17s fit under my '91?

Post by All_talk »

I'm looking at a pretty good deal on some 17 x 7 wheels with 225-45s on them, just wondering if they will fit without changing the tires. I did a little searchin, looks like some say yes, some say no. My car is lowered about 1.5". The stock WRX wheels/tires on it now just clear without rolling the fenders (I rolled them a bit anyway just for piece of mind.

Any advice?

Gary

they rubbed on my car during hard cornering with all of the fenders rolled, or if i had a bunch of people in the car and i hit a bump.

It's about 1,5 size too big. They will rub!
