I just want to make sure this isn't something I should be worried about--not sure where it's coming from as the rear main looks completely dry? It only looks like a little seepage but I don't want to take this tranny out again anytime soon!!
Any ideas? thanks!

This is technically an engine question.
Anyway, if the tranny's out, go ahead and do it. I used to hold my head up high and go on about how Subarus NEVER leak from the rear main...

while you are at it reseal that baffle plate just to the right. Murphys law ays it will leak immediately after you put everything back together. <-voice of experience
