another option is that you have a weird code that is
set in your cars computer.My legacy had some weird
code set in the computer and the brake light would
stay on for a long time before it would go off. i went
and had some other work on my car done that involved
them clearing out all of the codes for failures etc.
and the brake warning light has worked normally since.
