EJ22T: Round 3

Post by asc_up »

so yeah. my first engine shitted on itself and the second one developed rod knock.

a guy at a subaru shop found me a long block for $800 and it only has 107k miles on it!! lol.
so he's going to have it shipped to his shop and redo the head gaskets and every other gasket and seal you can think of. then he's gonna put on a new water pump, timing belt tensioners, idler pullies and timing belt.

after that he'll rip out my old engine and put in the new one along with a new radiator.

all for an extra $500 on top of the engine price.

yay. lol. :-D

Nice man. That's a pretty fair price for a 22T.

And yeah, I think Doug's on #6, but he's also been running NA engines that he's pinned.
