Gonna do this ebay exaust, couple questions.

Post by wrxpeed »

I found this complete 3" turboback exhaust with uppipe on ebay for $299

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/02-05-Im ... enameZWDVW .

I'm going to order it up and get it on my T-Leg. A couple of questions though..

First is that the kit comes with an uppipe. I know the stock uppipe isn't catted like on newer WRXs. My question is would it even be worth my time to install this new one? I've done uppipes before and they aren't fun.

Second question is how long of an extension will I need appoximately to be added onto the downpipe to fit the kit? I've searched and didn't find any conclusive answers.

Thanks

I wouldn't run the supplied uppipe...as the factory stuff is best

As far as the extension...each exhaust is different, so you will have to measure and figure out how long of an extension you will need.
