No boost when cel comes on

Post by Ej22TIM »

I just replaced the boost control soleniod or whatever the red dealy is in front of the passenger side shock tower. the code is for boost control. i replaced the sensor along with all the other sensors on that panel (plugged in the whole set from a buddys t-leg) and my cel still pops.
it will hit fuel cut a 1 psi or as soon as it starts to boost. im running a MBC and i have a brand new o2 sensor.
can anyone help me?!

thanks,
Tim

Take your intake tract apart and find the vaccum hose that is disconnected. The only other things I can think of is that you have the hoses switched or the one that comes off from the throttle body isn't hooked up. It's a vaccum hose issue. See Vikash's vaccum hose sticky...

Good call Scott. Definitely check out the sticky post for the vacuum lines and also dive into the Stuff You Need Know section of the forum.

Go to the Intake section of the forum. It is at the top of the page.
