Pretty much the only option is to send them to Delta cams and have them do a regrind

i just talked to someone there, they said 72.50 for each, the lady said there was 2 grinds they offer, one is more of a street setup, and the other is what she said was a "hot street" grind.

for the more agressive grind would i have to get stiffer valvesprings? i guess i just want to know more about this

thanks,

I would believe so, but it would be best to confirm it with the shop doing the work. As for pricing, that's not bad at all! I may just have to send off my cams from my DOHC heads so the turbo motor is a bit "snottier". $290 is much cheaper than $499 for the Cobb cams (Impreza 25RS).

It will be really difficult to do them in car. ONe cam comes out the front of the head the other out the back.

shouldn't need stiffer springs.

I loved mine when they were on my car

yeah, did this a long time ago. The cams move the powerband up and it really helps to have a turbo that doesn't die off at higher rpm. I dont think you can do the cams with the heads on the engine because there isn't enough room to pull the cam facing backwards out of the head.

I have my heads all cleaned/planed... and sitting in my trunk, I'm just waiting for a few last engine things... What else do I need to make my tappers lift? *sorry bad joke* anyhow, would I need different lifters, rockers, fulcrum?

I sent my cams to delta before I put my motor together. I think I have the "hot street" grind. There is a slight lope at idle. Depending on the weather, I have to keep it a bit rich at idle since there is some exhaust gas reversion.

I couldn't tell you the difference they made since it all went together at once.
