I'm in the middle of putting a WRX tranny into a '92 SS. 1) How do I get the WRX's speedo gear out (just yank it?), and do I just put the one from Legacy in its place?

The speedo sender should just thread out of the transaxle...

The WRX one looks like a plastic plug that just pushes in. How do I get it out?

I see. I was trying to get the entire thing out, I could not tell that the center part with the plug is what screws out. Thanks.
