Anyone know that 2006 LGT outbacks have v.6 Ra gears?

They are significantly bigger than wrx gears, plus they are 4.11... I'm pretty sure that is an easy (yet fairly expensive) way to get RA gears in the US.+1 for subaru recycling parts.

OK and just to make sure.... this should just drop in to the legacy ss tranny case correct? drop in gear set on add the Legacy GT ring gear to the front differential? As well as swap to a 4.11 rear diff or swap in the ring and pinions....correct?

Please let me know If i Have this wrong cause I am looking in to doing this swap....

I don't know anything about interchangeability, I just know the facts about the gear set, match the facts about the RA gearset. As for them dropping into our tranny, I think there may be some discretion as to the legacy being a push-type and ours being pull. I was really just putting that out there for everyone.

RA gears aren't very much wider than stock...like 1mm...not near enough to justify the work involved in changing them imho

clutch type shouldn't really matter when it comes to swapping gears.
