Engine is in the car and bolted up. Next step is to see if I can get USDM WRX PS lines and under inlet manifold stuff to work without too many nightmares. My biggest concern is the Ej205 BPM inlet pipe I've got has a totally wrong size fitting for the IAC. But if that's my biggest problem in all of this, I am golden...

Car is running. I bailed on the straight inlet conversion and since a Td05 didn't drop in my lap, I reused my td04. For now it will do. More to follow...

I just realized that I never came back and posted my dyno results. 170whp at 12psi on a td04 while still using the Ej22T ECU. For comparison, stock EJ205 WRX's put down 155-160whp on the same dyno. Given that performance, I don't know if I am ever going to bother with installing the Z4 WRX ECU. It's only good for another .7psi and would require the COP conversion.

You need not a COP setup to run a G ECU. You just need a 4 channel ignitor. I ran my T on a G ECU with the stock coil.

I'm also running a EJ20G/TD04 on my SS with a ej22t ECU & it outran our '02 WRX (29k miles K&N / STi exhaust) @ just 10psi.

I was thinking of putting in the WRX ECU, but changed my mind once I drove the car 1 time - it runs very well as is.

I have not tracked the car yet, but the best 0-60 I've done on the G-tech Pro is 5.05sec with a 8.877 1/8th mile @ 15psi on my 4eat LSS.
Variance of the G-tech PRO vs. our local track = G-tech was at worse .06 seconds slower than the official 1/4 mile time.
