I have a 90 Legacy 2wd 5spd na....it has a clicking electrical sound coming from under the driver's seat...it starts as soon as I turn power on and it dims the lights about every 5 seconds. I have no idea what it is? any ideas

I did look under my seat "dude"....I was trying to save the trouble of taking the seat out and pulling the carpet back if someone knew what it might be

If I remember right (and maybe I don't), there's a circuit breaker under the driver's seat for the power windows. Maybe you have a short in the power window circuits somewhere...

So. Do your power windows work?

You could also try removing fuse 15 from the under-dash fuse box. I think it's labeled "gauges" or something, but it also powers the coil of the power window relay. If you yank that fuse and the problem goes away, you have to find the short in the power window circuit.
