Check engine light.

Post by Redneck Wolf »

It's random it seems how it does this, but I used to have a problem with it coming on when the car was cold, and going off when it was at normal temp. Now, it's off until it warms up, then comes on. It is affecting acceleration. However, about an hour on the freeway at 75, it turns off again, and everything seems fairly normal. What could it be?

Get the CEL. Just a WAG, but maybe the knock sensor.
