If you mean why did I paint it the way I did then thats simple, it was easy. Easy to fix when I tear it up in the dirt.

no I mean the paint looks like it was painted flat with a spray can. Is that the lok you were going for?

Pretty much what I was going for. The black is Rhino Liner, so its flat. Blue is also spray can.

Of course I'm biased, since I now have a 3/4 painted flat black '92 LSS in my back yard.

The blue has a small bit of shine if I clean it. The black will aways be flat. I know where your coming from, Its cool.

As long as it's not primer since water penetrates it. I had this flat black epoxy paint on part of the hood to my old sedan and that stuff was great - highly resilient to rock chips and even had a little shine when you rubbed it with some paint preservative stuff.

Ya I primed it first, lots of sand time. Its super smooth too on the blue. Blue sparkles a bit too.
