I know ...
............ i know... but this car is beautiful... and SUCH a piece of rally history.....
what is it??
what is it you say?????
it is... a 92 Legacy Touring Wagon.....
but not just any 92.... it was the Subaru World Rally Teams Recce Car for such top names as Possum Borne... Richard Burns...
.....and of course Colin McRae......
Fully Equipped, it ran for all these drivers from 1991 - 1994, and has been all over the world with the team.....
It can be yours for ....
$25,000 + Shipping from New Zealand = about $30,000

That should be in a museum. Especially considering recent events.
Someone forward this to Subaru HQ in Japan.

Left Hand Drive as well! I always wondered what a BF would look like in WR Blue.
Definitely a heritage piece. Does Subaru or anyone else keep a collection of significant Subies anywhere?
As a side note, if anyone's ever near Wolfsburg, Germany, VW has a hell of a museum.

Not buying it, literaly and figuritivly.
Look closely at the pictures. I DO NOT see a roll cage anywhere. I DO SEE a dog screen for the rear.....
Its way too clean, no dents.... I call bs at this point, at least to say it was a real Rally wagon.
It may have been OWNED by some famous people, but driven competitivly? Not.
Reddevil, Awaiting new heart, will it ever happen?

It's a recce car. I don't know what the safety regs are on them, but they aren't driven competitively - they're used to survey the course to write up their pace notes for the rally, so high speeds wouldn't be very helpful. It does have a skid plate and the A- and B-pillars look like the interior trim may be stripped off with bars running up them. I don't think that's a dog divider, but a cage to keep spares from flying around.
