Anyways i just want to clear some things up and get some answers...


Q:
RE: [BC-BFLegacyWorks] Update news about the FG hood fander or body parts?
Last year, there were some post about the FirbaGlass body parts, is
it still taking order??

Well i've done everything i can..Although all my priceing is probably all out
of date.. I had alot of you interested and because of various circumstances
many people dropped out.. Now aparently a full fiberglass hood with scoupes
and vents at about 155.00 (american) was too much to pay.. as far as the next
popular part the RS Style bumper for about 220.00 (american) was also to much
for many.. although if you were to go to JCSports and or MRT these parts
could easily run you $550-$1,100 dollars.

As far as where we still stand I am all ready.. Some things have fallen thru
i was at the time in the position to obtain a Turbo legacy hood for 150.oo in
great condition.. that was 5 months ago and has been sold and or destroyed??

If there are serious people interested we NEED five or more people for each
part that will keep our costs indavidually under 200 bucks..

As far as what i'm working on right this minute is SCULPTING a pair of Quad
Head Lamps for my car.. i went to a junk yard and ripped the whole lighting
system outa my year car and am trying to make one the works.. i just need
help with the electrical system so that the high beams will turn on
seperately from the low beams as you know all the legacy wireing goes to ONE
bulb and i need them to get to 2 bulbs. Other than that i've found a good
price on some BMW Projector head lamps to mount in my Quads.. but i don't
forsee haveing a finished prototype untill july..

QUESTIONS I NEED ANSWERED....

This has been a hot topic for a while now.. and i just want a clear answer..
Will a STOCK 2.5RS cylinder head Mount to a 2.2L engine with an easy swap? OR
am i talking 3-4 weeks of resizeing valves, polishing heads and other B.S..?

Q:
Are the fuel injectors from a 2.5RS engine bigger than the 2.2L and if so
could i just swap them out..?Do they even fit?

The intake manifold of the 2.5 most likely wont just bolt to my 2.2l
engine..But the 2.2l turbo manifold most likely will.. is this true.? If so
am i going to get any added benifit or is it just a waist of money..?

will clue you in.. if i get alot of interst i will actively persue new prices
and parts..

Question and possible answer to your lighting project. Are you looking to have the high beams go on with the low beams? I'm pretty sure the way the stock wiring is that the low beams go off when the high beams are switched on.

Let me know if you want both on at the same time or you want only brights on or how you were looking to do things. Also what type of light bulbs were you looking to us. Also something to look into is a set of xenon's for the low beam, since with a xenon setup you don't have a high beam, it's only a single filament setup. Then you could have a separate flood for the high beams. I'm pretty sure on my uncle's A-6 that the xenon low beams go off when the high beams go on. So as long as the high beam projector pattern is good, you can keep the stock wiring setup. I would however not use it to power the new headlights, I'd set it up with a new relay wiring setup directly wired to the battery.

I am interested in this. How are they going to look, are they going to be behind a lexan plastic piece or something like that, or are the projector lights goin to be separate and sticking out?

I'm possibly interested in a fiberglass turbo hood if you get enough people. The big factor on all of these things is a little more time. I'll be grad in May, so it would have to be after then and enough time to get a job and such.

Anyway....let me know about the wiring, what you were thinking.

David, how much is the shipping to Toronto,Canada? I think its a very
good price for the Hood since I have an intercooler, I want a larger
scoop, also my hood has some rust coming out and the new firberglass
hood won't rust at all!!

For the lighting, I was thinking about to made a projector lights
like the Intager, but I think your design is better and could you
make the kit that fits to 92-94 Legacy?? I think the needs from 92-94
is more then only 91 model!!
Think about it, or I will sure to get one for my car!!
