Intermittent Loss of power

Hey guys my sister's 92 liberty ej22 auto, while driving along it begins to slow down all by itself no matter where the throttle is even with foot flat to the floor it ends up doing about 10kmh then all of a sudden it goes back to normal.
There is no missing or rough running of any kind and no check light
It has done this 3 times now and i'm stumpped.

check the fuel pump connector under the pass side rear seat. had the same crap w/ my old 90 sedan. when it acted up, i was able to slap the seat and it would clear up. tightened terminals and it never did it again. just a thought.
