Fog light switch

Post by lilsprout »

I've got a 92 wagon and I was wondering if there was a factory switch for foglights that would mount on the right side of the instrument panel? I have installed a switch already but I would prefer the look of a factory one.....anybody know?

There was a foglight switch that would fit in the panel on the lower portion of the left side of the dash. However, if you do not have the air suspension, and can get ahold of the trim piece that holds the height adjustment switch, you could use the foglight switch in that panel just to the right of the steering wheel.

I have a switch you can buy. I think I even have the plug and a few inches of the wiring harness. It all yours for $5.

I have already wired in my fogs. Older bosch set. I am currently using the bosch switch...3 wires. I just want to have a more factory looking switch in the dash. Thats why I want the diagram. I will probably just have use a multi meter to figure out whats what but a diagram would save time. I also have a set of bosch driving lights which i've installed with the same kind of switch but in a different location.....lower down. I leave that switch on all the time for high beams so I will leave that one.

My suggestion would be to get a loom from a JY car with about 3-4 inches.

Then multi meter off the CC switch for the light indicator part.

The other three wires will be from the power and out to a ground and out to the relay.

It's really not hard to wire up.

The only issue is that I think subaru uses a switched ground not a switched power.
