Anybody use a 90s WRX TMIC before?

Post by conrAWD »

Has anybody tried putting on a TMIC from a 90s wrx? I believe its a slant version?? Just wondering how they fit and if its worth using that or the 06/07 TMIC?

yes it fits. although i'm not sure if it would be easier or not to use the 06/07 wrx tmic.

Yeah just did a search...btw the google search at the top w/in legacycentral produces much better results than the search option above. just my 2 cents.

I think I'll go with the newer IC, because its newer.

For some reason I thought the older rexy ICs didnt fit because they were too deep? Am I right or wrong?

They fit, but they are not as big as the 06, and the angle they sit in the bay, is not as conducive to air flow from the scoop.
