I just looked at some pics...and it appears as the radiator inlet/outlet are the same on the GC/GM Impreza RS...So I am sure you could source a kit for that vehicle from Samco or something similar.

If you consider upgrading to an improved and tougher material that is less prone to cracking, expansion, and rupturing rice, then you really need to rethink your position on modifying cars. But that is besides the point. I asked a simple question, expecting a simple answer. If you don't have anything to say that may benefit this thread, don't post. This is the reason this forum is losing so many members lately. There are too many unhelpful pricks out there that do nothing to benefit anything on this forum.

I'm going to agree with livestrong14 here in that it seems every post i've had lately has been hijacked by some holyer than thou smart ass who has to nit-pick evey little thing i say, and most of these guys aren't newbies either, just because you live on this forum dosent mean you know everything about legacys, subaru, or cars in general. I've been absent from the forum for most of the riding season, (the ZX-6R takes precidence in the summer
) and all i can say is wow its changed around here. There i'm done ranting.

I don't agree. Maybe if you saidsmh0101 wrote:The stock rubber ones suck... I am sick of damn leaky hoses!
"The 15 year old stock rubber ones suck... I am sick of damn leaky hoses!" I'd agree and say to get more stock rubber hoses!
Now if you tell me the stock radiators suck I might agree. I dislike plastic end tanks.

For the record, we use OEM rubber hoses for all the Spec mazda's we build. They aren't 500hp monsters but they do get beat on pretty hard.
If you are set on finding silicone hoses for their durability and looks I can completely understand, but rather than buying a radiator hose kit for a different model and have most of the hoses not fit why not just buy some OEM's and keep it simple and stealthy?

The answer is: Ask Northwest Service in Portland, Oregon; we're too cheap to waste money on silicone hoses that serve no purpose.livestrong14 wrote:So... nobody knows the answer to my question? ok thanks
For the record, I've got a 91 legacy wagon that has set for at least three years when the original owner stopped driving it; my hoses are OEM originals, and none of them have developed any leaks of any sort, or any such cracking internal or external.
take proper care of your radiator fluid, change it like you should and the OEM rubber will outlast anything else you put on there for the price point;
In-fact, if OEM rubber hoses lasted one year but cost $10, and silicone hoses lasted two years but cost $40; then over the course of four years you've saved $40.
That's an exaggeration, but just an example of how the right investment leads you to more power and performance, and the wrong investment leads you to an empty wallet and a slow car.
But hey, it's your money, you do what you want; all I'm saying is that we can't help you because we haven't taken that route.
I had a lot to say about people complaining about not getting the response they desired when they posted a question that's been asked a million times before. The short version of my long ramble is this: You don't like it, go somewhere else. Otherwise, use the search; it's an amazing tool. We don't hold hands here. If you've got a question you can't find an answer for, don't be afraid to post it; but make sure you search first.

Ok so heres my two cents on the actual question, I dont think you will be able to find a kit unless its for a non USDM car but you should be able to get a WRX lower hose and a 2.5rs top hose to fit. dont know this for a fact but they look like there pritty damn close to orginal stock pieces

Not to say your wrong cuz i totally agree with the reacuring post/not searching before asking thing but in my instance most of the negative comments and complaining come after my responses not questions. People just seem to think they know eveything around here and all be damned if you dont believe what they're saying.scuzzy wrote: I had a lot to say about people complaining about not getting the response they desired when they posted a question that's been asked a million times before. So this is totally off topic but relevant to your reply subytech.
I usually love helping those in need of information, or at least giving them my input. But lately its been wearing on me. Mostly when you get people just throwing out questions BEFORE research.

I'm sorry if you don't want to listen to me anymore Devan, but I know what I am talking about...the vast majority of what I say is based upon my experiences working on cars, both personally and in a work setting.
Imprezive, et al, excellent points about the rubber hoses...just pay $10 per hose every 15 years
And if you radiator hoses are swelling, then you have bigger problems (i.e. blown head gasket)

To be quite honest, most of your posts are annoying and negative. I have just learned to ignore most of the things you post. You can be one of two things in life Nick, you can gain respect and knowledge amongst your peers by showing respect, or you can be a complete ass and get hardly any scrap of respect from those around you. It's your choice. I am done dealing with you and backing you up. You have lost my respect for now.555BCTurbo wrote:livestrong14 wrote:So... nobody knows the answer to my question? ok thanks
