ignition timing

Post by twentz90 »

How do I turn the timing up on my vehicle? I have a 90 NA 5spd Legacy. Also, where is the tps and what setting should I set it at for best throttle response?

Ignition timing is not adjustable.

The TPS is mounted to the passenger side of the throttle body. Its position should not be adjusted. If you want to make sure it's in the right position, look for a post by Legacy777 on how to calibrate the idle switch.

An apex'i ITC is an ignition timing controller. They stopped making them a while back so finding one can be difficult. It's like an Apex'i safc. It actually looks like the first generation of safc.
