Invidia downpipe

Post by jefferson »

I am seriously considering an Invidia divorced downpipe with cat for my car. Is there anyone else who has gone this route or just the divorced route? I want to make sure I won't have any problems with the divider that protrudes into the turbo.

There is a performance shop fairly close to me that I just found out about that does custom mandrel bent exhaust. The pictures I saw of his work just about bowled me over. I am very anxious to get all the pieces to take to him and let him craft a piece for my car.

Thanks, Jeff

I've been considering that Invidia divorced downpipe too. It seems like CES and Crucial Racing are the other companies that sell divorced DPs. I've read that CES had quality issues a while back, so who knows what that's like now. The Crucial downpipe looks awesome, but spendy.

Know of any other divorced downpipes to consider?

Invidia says the divider that protrudes is supposed to give plenty of clearance for any VF series turbo. You could always grind it down if it's too big.

I did see some others on a site I visited the other day, but I didn't write the names down. The one was a British company is all I can remember and it was not CES. I e-mailed CES twice about their product and where to get it in the US with no response back from them. I wouldn't even consider a Ces after that kind of treatment.

You have to order directly from CES. After my experience, I can't recommend them. There's other options out there that are as good, and much less.
