Since I installed the vf 34 the Profec B waste gate has been unable to work on the previous high an low settings.
Been mainly topping at 12 on the gauge. The SDS computer has the one-bar chip and to go higher I can get the 1.5 chip.
I'm told that on running at 16 boost it would be appropriate to use the AVC-R contoller and it should be set to decline to something lower as peak revs are approached.
Any comments

If you have a profec b spec II you can make it taper boost down if you like by inputting a high (late) open wastegate (set-boost) value ( I believe its the set boost heading, but I havent played with one of these in 1 year).
If you have the older model I'd just have it hold the value you want it to taper down to.
I'm not really sure if that helps or what info you are trying to find out.
The point is that the Profec is not working and the gate is opening on the spring only.
Has anyone had any experience with the AVC-R controller???

The AVCR is nice and offers a bit more than the Profec. However, if it is suddenly not responding after a turbo change, I would look into the boost hoses being improperly routed, wiring to the solenoid not intact, etc. It shouldn't be an issue all of a sudden.
