You'd get a ticket in Boston. Maybe down in FL parallel parking is a rare occurrence.

I was only about an inch farther out than the cars ahead of and behind me :)

It's actually illegal to parallel park something that big?

Virtually unheard of. My friends and I gloat that we can even parallel park at all, although most of them are from up North; I made myself learn. But none of them would dare parallel park this thing

You'd get a ticket for being too far from a curb. Or being there longer than 1 or 2 hrs. no matter if you've fed the meter, or in an undesignated no-parking zone, or just because something about your vehicle is offensive to the parking Nazi (even if it's an invisible thing only seen by the ticket-writing loser). And if you're there longer than an hour after the ticket, you'd be towed so you'll have to pay the ticket (probably $100, but at least $50), the tow (easily $100), and the lot 'storage fee' of at least a day (>$25) even if you followed the tow truck into the yard.

Throw the hazzards on, double park it, then let the company pay for the ticket.

You ARE awesome. Parking something of that size anywhere in Orlando has to be pretty difficult. I salute you! Is it such a trick with the Fit, though?

Not as impressive as parallel-parking a Sprinter, but FAR more risky.

The first picture was of my Sprinter work van after I had parallel-parked it. I have no idea where to find it again.

It was an accomplishment I was most proud of, since it is a 3500, long-wheelbase, with no rear windows

That guy on the vette must have been happy when he saw you parked there, you made him not have the cheapest car in the row lol.
