Iam about to replace the front wheel bearings on my 1993 legacy. I removed the spindle/hub from the car. I have a press, but want to make sure the process is done correctly (especially pressing them out and then back in correctly). Can someone please post a reply on the steps to press the old one out (including the inner hub) and the new one (inner hub and whole bearing set) in?
I took the grease seal off from where the cv joint mates to the hub. I noticed a retainer clip that sits right above/on the bearing. How do I go about pressing out the inner hub from the bearing? Do I press that one out first with the bearing still in the spingle/knuckle and then press the rest of the seal out? If so, does anyone have any steps or pics in doing so?
Thanks,
Paul
