Factory cruise control on 92 SS

Post by 92 ra-r »

I had the whole dash out for some conversion work, took off the steering wheel, etc. I noticed something that looked like a factory installed alarm "option" and optional cruise control. I say optional because while the modules have Subaru on them, they seem to use Radio Shack molex style connectors. All of this was "hacked" into an aftermarket alarm, which is now removed and the original wiring restored.
The question--the car has cruise control-it has the cables and vacuum apparatus, as well as a the main dash switch. What it does not have however is any kind of controls on the steering wheel or anywhere else that I can find. There is one small dash switch but it is not labeled and I don't think it connects to the cruise. I keep seeing mention of "cruise control stalks" and I know what the WRX uses, but I see nothing like that on my car.
Can anyone post some pics of factory cruise control "controls" so that I can tell if what I've got is what is supposed to be there?
Thanks-
