I know, I know. I'm cheap. Whatever.
I searched but couldn't find an answer.

Will a FMIC setup for a GC8 fit our cars? Little modding? LOTS of modding?

This is what I was looking at....

get it and tell me how it was to install so I can buy one ;) on a serious note, search out FMIC, I remember reading somewhere about compatabilities with kits and cars somewhere. If I'm not mistaken I think that would be the closest we could get as that is close to the same layout as an '02 wrx. I could be very wrong though.

Hahaha I was planning on eventually doing that.

My dilemma is that the GC8 is more like our cars so I was thinking that would work, but they also have the kit for the 02-07 WRX.

So which one do you guys think would fit better? 02 WRX or GC8?

Do you know what "kit" to use for our cars?

im not too sure witch one will work best for our cars. i just custom made my pipes. that intercooler will be kinda hard to fit because the core is really tall. mines is 8.5 inch's or 9 and it fits perfectly. any bigger and you really wont have much bumper left.

I have that kit on my SS (see rotating pic).
It fit the ej22t pretty easily (3 of the 4 IC pipes fit easily the last pipe has to be fabbed), but the tubing had to be changed for a EJ20G.

My buddy & I got it to fit behind a notched bumper beam, which was the biggest pain in the butt to trim (double & triple layers of metal).

I have pics of the sohc & dohc setups, if someone wants to post them pm me.

I thought these ICs were junk, but a friend bought one & after comparing it to a Spearco I have I could not see ant difference (and I was looking for one).

After using this on the SS, I liked it sooo much I bought another kit for my OBS-T that I will put one sooner or later (it has been sitting in my garage for a year now).
