An attack on Blackbart on NASIOC

Scroll down to post #7. The person posting obviously doesn't know Frank's character. He could at least have tried to settle the situation in a more peaceable and friendly way.

ya - I saw it and had to reply in Blackbarts defence as well

I think he gets it now... Blackbart is old school and respected, the OP bashing him - not so much :)

This is why I quit NASIOC.

Although, I'm thinking of posting in that thread and really starting some shit. Don't really care if I get banned or not.

Yeah, the overall attitude on NASIOC is rather crappy & if you don't own an STi or multi-million dollar built WRX, don't talk to anyone.

I only use the classifieds section there & nothing else. I don't care for how & what people post there.

For the most part yeah. There's a few old school guys that know who each other are, and try to watch each others' back from what I've seen. I have a few forums I paruse, but rarely post. There's a few niche discussion topics I'll post in because I have a bit of experience with. Other then that....it only takes me a minute or so to move on.

I'm a moderator, obviously, of a few forums, so I have to spend some time there. I stay in my region, which is full of wackos, but generally not high-maintenance, Legacy and its classifieds, and NA. I've no interest in any other content.

Thanks for supporting Frank, I consider the seller thoroughly pwned.

omg that was awesome you gave him a friggin failgoat!!!! I need to change my sheets now.

Can you imagine that guy getting all these emails from nasioc and he's thinking sweet someone wants to buy my block. Then he opens it up only to have his asshole politely ripped larger and larger.

I bet someone starts a scammer thread about me on there soon. Shipped a perrin boost controller to canada and It hasn't made it. Just after i shipped it, i moved and i think i lost the recipt so I have no tracking info (still looking). I hate the USPS. rant over.

Ah-ha!! So this explains it!! I was amazed at how many guys that I know read that for sale post over on NASIOC and stood up for me. Thanks to 93Leg-c and his army for what you did!! :smt027
We really are a Family here, this is most definitely my CyberHome.
The entire "dealings" consisted of 7 PM's over 3 days. He offered to drive with 90 miles of my house on his way to somewhere else and offered to bring the block with him for an extra $50. He wanted me to drive down to meet him on the highway, I told him I would rather pick it up at his house, he agreed and, in the same PM that he set me his address, said that I should send him a PayPal for $600 to show that I am "real". I said that that this deal "doesn't feel right, you should find another buyer". I guess that shattered his dreams. :smt022
Here is another thread with the same block:
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthr ... repairable
Thanks again guys!!! :smt023

You were smart to pull out on that bad deal. I always get nervous when someone pushes hard for cash while disregarding my concerns.
