:chuckle, chuckle: Vikash, somehow that hit a funny bone.
Gerry, from what I know (and it may be wrong), turbo wagons were called touring wagons and the turbo sedans were called sport sedans. I don't believe the wagons were called sport wagons. Anyone want to verify or correct this?
There sure was! GLCraig, or Craig GL, I forget. . . He had one --Drew, you were there-- at the last campout I went to. Craig was the big dude in the boonie hat, and had the really sweet dark blue GT wagon, and it had a raised roof!
Gerry,
The only badges that advert 'Touring Wagon' are the ones on the fender just below the corner marker. Some Canadian wagons had it, and others didn't. I'm also surprised you didn't have the aftermarket orange reflector stickies on the corner lenses --did you remove them?
tris, this is how I bought it at the end of the summer. I was driving home from work and there it was sitting at the side of the road. A 16 year old kid had bought it from somebody in his family and was selling it for a grand, with a bad rad, water pump was gone, rear suspension was shot (as you can tell in the pic.) I offered him $600 and he bit, so I drove it home and got the work done that needed to be done. The car had been rust checked until 2002 so it's in REALLY good shape for our roads considering that the roads get salted and I am surrounded by ocean.
Now in Nova Scotia we have a safety inspection, of course it failed because of the brakes, a leak in the gas tank (I have one on the way) and there is a hole in the flex pipe near the flange.
My $600 car all said and told will total to about $2.5k with all the work done and I couldn't be happier, it's such a fun car, and I am learning more and more about working on them.

Art's wagon was a blue raised roof GT as well, we had two at that campout!
Gerry you still got a fine price at $2.5 in good mechanical and body condition.
Your car is pretty much identical to my Touring Wagon. The colors of the headlights even match Good deal getting it for $600, mine was $2000 and still needed a radiator and brakes (didn't find out till after I bought it).
93 Touring Wagon (EJ20G 5spd Swap) -- Finally back and running strong as ever!
05 Outback 2.5XT 5spd -- Now the wife can have her SUV and get in on the turbo Legacy goodness at the same time.
Nice looking ride...got mine for $1750...had to put $1100 into it to get it in running shap. Like you 1/4 of that was new tires. Same color as mine, except your body is in great shape. The grill in mine was replaced with a regular legacy grill....love the matching color one.
