Replacment for coolant tank?

Post by Brice k »

I need a replacment for the plastic coolannt tank that the radiator cap goes in.

I also need to re-locate the tank to accomodate an AWIC.

I would like to get an aluminum tank that fits the oem pressure cap.

I searched the vendor forums and ebay but didn't come up with anything.

Any ideas or known products???

Thanks

I used a new WRX tank, it is a different plastic than the Leg SS one.Part 21132AA131 $77 at www.subarugenuineparts.com
Here is a link to a pic of mine installed. I made two brackets to secure it to the engine(not shown).

I am running an '02 WRX coolant tank, but this would likely do the trick.

coolant fill tank thread?

Post by kleinkid »

Arctic--how does your post about my bpv line relate to a coolant fill tank? I'll answer that, it doesn't. This doesn't either, I've had no issues with the line.

Ok, lets keep it friendly guys :)! I dont think any offense was meant by it. Anyway, Kleinkids tank looks good, Ive not seen that one before, I used an all metal WRX unit with the WRX radiator cap. Ive been told that the metal one will work with our stock cap as well. If you figure out a good place to mount it let me know.
