can a 93 SS 4eat ecu be swap with a 5mt ecu.
will i need to change any wires....
and yes im trying to do a 4eat to 5mt swap

i know that the 4eat ecu will work with a 5mt, but i was reading the how to do post, and he said that he was having a broblem with the timing or something like that due to the fact that he was using an 4eat ecu where a 5mt would fix it....555BCTurbo wrote:They are the same ECU...

Don't think so...
I have swapped an auto car to 5mt...and it felt identical to a factory 5mt car.

You have to remember I did my swap when I was normally aspirated. Turbo ECU, as mentioned are the same between transmission types.

You just need to swap the positive leads for the crank & cam sensors, and add the pins for the turbo specific sensors. This must be done on top of the wiring issues associated with the 5mt swap.
