Gauge Cluster- Light Shines through black sections

Post by Boostedleg »

I plan to tear my gauge cluster apart to fix a few bulbs and clean up the back and repaint the green sections red. But I noticed that the lower black sections have white light shining through it now. When I pull it apart should I just go back over the black sections with paint or a black sharpie? Any suggestions?

I'd say carefully color in those sections with black paint. A black sharpie will still allow the light to pass through.
