NooB with a big thanks and a tip for other BBS NooBs

Post by K-Town'94ss »

Hi all,

This is my first post here on the BBS, but I have been searching and reading for about 6 months now. Just about two years ago I was in a very bad motorcycle crash  and found myself in need of a car. I looked high and low for a good car and came up with a one owner 158,000 mile 94 ss turbo (bone stock) for only 3k. I have to say I didn't know what I was buying, but now that I found you guys I think its one of the smartest things I've done :D . My little (maroon) ss has done everything I have asked and much much more! Now she's looking at just over 200k and runs TOPS (oil, oil filter, air filter, plugs and a good "looking" at every 3k).

Just a note for other new guys to the BBS... search and read for a long time before you ask :)... Everything that has "come up" with my SS (outside of my 2X blown CV joints) was fixed by me from tips and posts found on the awesome BBS. I have yet to ask anything because I just keep reading/searching.

So to all the people that have helped me and my car without even knowing it, I just have to say THANK YOU SO MUCH! :!:

Glad we can help.

You're taking the right approach to getting started on the board, and thanks for that.

The first thing I do before tinkering with the engine is to get a broom, or an old hockey stick.

To retrieve the dropped tools.
