If someone could source aluminum tubing the size of the hoses I could have some aluminum TIG welded ej22t bolt-on coolant tanks made up.
I found the rad-cap/overflow fitting & have plenty of aluminum sheet-metal, but cant find aluminum tubing sized to fit the 2 hoses on the back of the tank.
I was thinking of having a couple a/n fittings welded on the tank then using a barbed adapter to connect to the hoses, but this would be more expensive/complicated than just welding 2 tubes in.
My buddy/fabricator just finished a complete turbo set-up for a Rotary Suzuki Samurai (GT45R, 4" exhaust, custom header, FMIC...), + a full tube framed RX7 so he is bored & could knock a few of these out in no time flat....

It should be easy to find from an industrial supplier. McMaster part numbers 89965K18 and 89965K253, for example.
But like I said in Carbix's thread, I think it might be better just to weld on female pipe-thread bungs so that you can thread in hose barb adapters. Pipe threads are sufficient and a lot cheaper than AN.

I really want to stay away from AN fittings if possible so any aluminum thread adapters, tubing, or even aluminum barbed fittings will work for this project.
Just give a part# &/or company like vrg3 did, & I can work on getting this done.

I'd say it makes sense to use an 1/8" NPT bung for the small fitting and 1/4" NPT bungs for the large fittings.
It wouldn't it be a big deal to do a little cutting, right? Because McMaster part numbers 44705K36 and 44705K368 would probably make good bungs if they were cut in half.
Or, have you considered just building up a thick enough wall that the tank itself could be drilled and tapped?
Either way, then people can get the barb adapters wherever they want. Depending where in the engine bay they choose to mount the tank, they might want 90-degree adapters or something.
Oh -- also, don't forget that the stock tank has a very low-cracking-pressure check valve built into the small fitting on the back that only allows flow into the tank.

We have some 1/4" aluminum plate, but that would be overkill for a coolant tank.
Tapping aluminum is no prob, but someone will overtighten the fitting & strip the thread.
I was thinking more along the lines of 1/8th inch walls with some sort of tube, fitting (to put a barb into), or barb welded out back.
? the check valve - it would have to be put on the hose .

if you could make something just like whats in the how to change a coolant tank post. I would be more then happy to buy one off of you
