Extra Speaker Wire in Trunk?

Post by traskw »

In the back of my '94 SS there is what looks like a disconnected speaker wire. It is right in the middle of the car between the two top speakers which are both plugged in. Any Ideas? Subwoofer?

High centermounted brakelight leads? Your SS has the light in the wing and not on the rear deck, I believe.

That makes sense, though it is the same style connector they use for the speakers.

That type of connector is used all over the car for all kinds of things: washer motor, clutch switch, test mode connectors... et cetera.
