Discovered something weird the other day, when lowering my car. For
some reason my liberty LX (base model of the legacy's) has the RS
turbo rear struts!! Can anyone tell me why? I ended up having to
return my springs and get a different set.
I know it's good to have the better struts just seemed really weird!

Rear struts - strange
They were measured and all the part no's etc. are a match with the rs
turbo, they measured the springs, and they only fit into the turbo
struts, so they had to get the spring factory to make me new springs.

Rear struts - strange
well thats good.
The Turbo's struts are uprated and springs firmer compared to the std
Liberty. Did you also get the larger rear sway bar?

Rear struts - strange
No, Just to make it more weird i have the stock swaybar!!! My
mechanic and i discussed it, and we have know idea what/why this was,
but i'm not complaining!! they're the uprated ones!
While we're on the topic do aftermarket WRX swaybars fit the BC
liberty's?
