Gauge cluster needles

Post by Nissan 240sx »

Does anyone have experience with our gauge needles?
Any one have any pictures with them removed or know of
any other cars that might have interchangeable
needles? Im looking for a white needle. Any one know
how to remove the orange?

Thanks

Gauge cluster needles

Post by Josh Colombo »

I know the new legacies have white needles, however IMO they are ugly as sin!! they're fat and look stupid, plus the speedo and tach are swapped places. Answer me this, I would assume they put the tach on the right side to draw more attention to it. I don't know about you, but I can see the middle section of the gage cluster better then the outer edges. What do you give a shit about seeing the middle of the gage cluster, ie on the new legacies, the 100-140mph range, and 0-4000 rpm range. Hmm how many people drive that fast.....not alot, how many people car if their car runs between 0-4000 rpm....not I!

I really like the gage style layout of the 1st gen legacies, only thing I wish it had was oil pressure and batt volt, like the older subies, but beggers will not be choosy.
