I think the wire's supposed to be attached to little clips along the way, so I'm not sure that'll work out right. Unless you just decide not to worry about the clips and break them if necessary.

I replaced my crank sensor a while back without removing the intake manifold. You can fish it through with a wire. I'd suggest doing that then trying to canibolize the plug & wiring.
