Standard 1990 BC5 gt fuel pump

will the standard fuel pump be able to keep up with

td05h 16g 14psi
STI yellows
2.5' exhaust
hdi front mount
all basic mods

also if it cnt will a pre 2000 STI or fuel pump fit my requirements ?

if i fitted that can i jst reset ecu and drive away ahppily after or do i need adjustable fuel pressure reg ?

same Q for a walbro 255lpm i guess is the usual mod

Chances are that your pump is the stock pump. Therefore it's about 18 years old, so you should just replace it with a brand new and reliable Walbro 255LPH that will definitely be able to pump out enough fuel for you.

When you replace the fuel pump you should have your battery disconnected anyways (accidental spark+gas tank = no bueno), so the ECU should reset itself then.

is that all i need jst any 255lpm walbro ?
and then a rest and its away ?

Just go to the Subaru dealer and ask for the Walbro 255LPH for your year. It's only like $105.00 and well worth the money.

You will most likely need more than that to run 14psi on a TD05...

ok the one i am looking at is GSS342 pump and fitting kit 400-857.

I have no experience with that one. All I can tell you is what I did my research on, and what was a complete plug & play setup for the turbo legacy.
