Questions about Perfect Power 6
I'm looking into getting a Perfect Power 6 for my subie, but I wanted to get some opinions of people that have it already.

I think it'll work alright, but may be a little limited in terms of a really complete solution.
I had some issues with the wiring harness I was using, so I think my issues with it were caused by that. But it should work fine for adjusting the a/f maps & ok for adjusting timing.

You can remove/raise the rev limiter. I have a unit to be installed and may fool around with running my redline a little higher, 8,000...

You can download the software from the perfect power web site. Check out the UI there and see what you think. I think it's more about knowing how to tune cars. That's hard part. I'm planning to leave that to the experts. Luckly I live in a hotbed of folks with talent...

Sorry, I forget what the stock level rev limit is set to...6500? I should know I've hit it enough times! <grin> Make that 7000 then.
Cheers,

Right...
The rev limiter is part of the circuitry of the ECU...and the Perfect Power doesn't modify the tach signal to the ecu, just the timing in terms of degrees.
