Learned my lesson

Post by rrhartjr »

After spending all week doing the water pump R&R, my Legacy was still overheating.

So I flushed the radiator with some of the corrosion cleaner, it came out nice and gross.

I guess at least I know now when the timing belt was changed and I learned a lot about the front of my engine and how much I never want to do that again.

:)

Did you bleed air from the cooling system by removing the bleeder screw.....assuming you have a n/a engine.

Yea, I tried that before all the work and it didn't seem to help.

I did also do it after flushing and filling.
