To Tophat or to Camber Plate?
That is the question!
I have a set of AGX's, and will be getting my ground control springs next month.
I was wondering what I should to as for tophats or camber plates?
Will Cusco camber plates work with the AGX setup? Or would RCE camber plates be better?
Or should I go with some Group N tophats?
Any input/advice is greatly appreciated!
Thanks

That is what I was thinking. I could just do some Ingals camber bolts for around $30 all the way around.
Do you know what tophats would fit Jamal? What year Group N?

If the car's super low the RCE camber plates are really helpful because of their shape...
"...work very well with lowering springs as they lower any car by 3/8" WITHOUT sacrificing suspension travel. Most other camber plates actually raise ride height."
http://www.racecompengineering.com/item ... d+Bushings
But they are pretty expensive and I'm not sure if they are the right shape pattern for our car?
Someone here said the Whiteline camber plates wouldn't fit our mounts without PITA modification, if memory serves me...
Another one to consider is K-mac. I think someone on the board had new about them, Jamal? They have an interesting design...

D, can you get deals on the RCE stuff since you know those guys? Let me know if you can do a group buy on those plates...

You can use any pre-08 impreza tops. 02+ stuff gets canted though. That actually turns out good for us though because you gain caster as well.
If I bought plates they would be the RCE ones. They're available in non-lowering format and also I think a GC fitment that will orient them "properly" on our cars. I would just set them as far inward and back as the spring clearance allows and fine tune cross camber with the bolts.

Yeah, the RCE ones are pretty cool b/c of the drop and angle thing. +1 for them in my perfect world - but very expensive.
